Completed in 2018, the Evanston Blick store underwent a complete transformation into the Blick Concept store that invites customers to test products in a creative setting. The redesign included an overhauled merchandising approach and all new custom millwork, the prominent showcasing of art supplies, the introduction of a 'Try-it Bar,' a vibrant pigment wall displaying over 700 paints, and an impressive 14-foot tall spray paint wall. The renovation project of this 11,000 square foot store spanned four months and was executed in sections, showcasing the power of close teamwork and effective contractor coordination. The innovative programs that originated in this store have since been expanded to other locations, illustrating the ongoing impact and success of this imaginative redesign.
