Blick Soho is a 13,000 square foot store in the heart of Soho on Broadway in New York City. The new flagship location completed in 2022 showcases a spectacular interior transformation. The refinishing of floors, restoration of original tin ceilings, upgraded HVAC system, electrical enhancements, and custom millwork all come together to create a unique and functional space. This project required a careful balance of integrating modern requirements, such as the ADA entrance and ramp, while preserving the historical integrity of the building. The process of obtaining Landmarks approvals for both exterior and interior modifications highlights the dedication to detail and respect for the location's heritage. As always, we made artwork the focal point by bringing in three large scale custom murals on the main floor by artists Gaia and Emily White, and had the windows hand painted and gold leafed by Noble Signs of Brooklyn.
